  • Responsibilities

    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a Plant Controller for a fast growing, multi-site manufacturing company in the Memphis, TN area.

    This job requires the management of overall operations for the company. The individual is responsible for the effective and successful management of suppliers, inventory, warehouse, packaging, shipping/receiving/logistics, maintenance, on-site support, and control of product SKU’s. They must ensure safe and efficient operations and serve as a company representative to support the quality team and regulatory requirements. They will be enhancing the operational procedures, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and business processes.

    CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    Inventory Management:
    Maintain a 2-3 week lead time on standard product and a 4-6 week lead time on specialty items by ensuring a good balance between supply on hand on demand forecast.

    Logistics:
    Executing/Coordinate shipments of new orders, returned items, quality issues, parts, parcels, and any recalls. Communicate with Area Directors (sales) and distributors to ensure on time delivery of customer purchase orders.

    Packaging:
    Ensure packaging meets quality, cost, and customer satisfaction requirements

    Re-Certification:
    Process owner for re-certifying or scrapping returned products (ie demo, evaluation, trade shows, rework or recalled devices, etc).

    Supplier Management:
    Maintain control of our suppliers, manage purchase orders, itemized SKU’s costs and inventory.

    Warehouse/Facility Management:
    Organize and operate a compliant warehouse
    at our 245 Summit Point corporate headquarters and ensure a positive office space/environment.

    Develop operations systems: Determine product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping

    Maintain safe and healthy work environment: Establish, follow, and enforce standards and procedures; complying with all regulatory requirements.

    Quality:
    Monitor quality of finished goods and returned devices. Inspect all outgoing shipments. Identify trends, investigate problems, and ensure proper implementation of corrective actions.

    Customer Support:
    Develop and manage the on-site maintenance strategy for our customers in the field.

    $140,000-$160,000 per year
