Plant Engineer - Food Manufacturing - Base Salary to 110k/year - Englewood, NJ

• Our client is a bakery and food manufacturer that uses fine ingredients and traditional methods to produce signature breads and pastries. They are looking for a Plant Engineer to lead the maintenance team and help team troubleshoot repairs and maintain preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance operations with routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Supporting and improving maintenance programs to enhance equipment and bakery production.
• Work closely with department leads to ensure a smooth operating schedule and decrease downtime in production.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in equipment maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Able to lead, mentor, and train technicians of different skill levels.
• Maintenance experience working on burners, motors, refrigeration, plumbing and gas, gearboxes, hydraulics, pumps, sprockets, conveyors, and electrical components.
• Able to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and use diagnostic and management tools.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 110k/year range with discretionary bonus and medical benefits, PTO, and holiday pay
