The Plant Engineer supports plant engineering, production, and quality assurance. This person will begin in the Quality Control Department for several months, training on fitting and welding inspection in the Fabrication Plant before performing Quality Assurance tasks. After the initial Quality Control training, they will perform Quality Assurance duties. As this person will start as a Plant Engineer, there is a great opportunity for career growth and development.
This person will have an extensive training plan in the Fabrication Plant to understand roles and responsibilities further.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System and its documents
Ensure compliance of the Quality Management System with AISC certification standards
Assist in performing internal audits and report findings
Become an expert in fitting and welding inspections
Assist in reviewing job specifications and drawings to identify potential challenges
Collaborate with other team members to identify and communicate quality requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or other required
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills required
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Salary:
Starting Pay: $60,000/year plus performance bonuses
Based on Experience
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, some weekends
7 AM - 6 PM
