    Manufacturing Plant Manager

    Location: Atlanta, GA -Southeast Atlanta

    Relocation Assistance Provided

    Salary: $135,000 - $149,000 + Bonus

    Overview

    The Manufacturing Plant Manager will lead the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of a corrugated box packaging facility located approximately 30 minutes southeast of Atlanta, GA. This role holds full responsibility for the site’s profitability, safety, quality, cost control, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will also play a pivotal role in growth initiatives by driving sales partnerships, process improvement, and operational excellence across the plant.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of progressive management experience

    • 5+ years of operations or production leadership experience within a manufacturing facility

    • Proven track record in budget and financial management, including P&L and capital budgets

    • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams through change

    • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making skills

    • Clear communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences

    • Experience initiating and managing projects to drive profitability and performance

    • Manufacturing industry experience is required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

    • Experience in turnaround or transformation environments

    • Background in capital project execution and analyzing financial data

    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align plant goals with customer needs

    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Quality, and Safety departments

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets are met

    • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with company goals and long-term vision

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability

    • Build and sustain a high-performance team culture that embraces change and collaboration

    • Partner with commercial/sales leaders to explore regional growth opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships

    • Lead improvements in production processes to meet divisional goals and increase throughput

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business units to better serve multi-site customers

    • Serve as a strategic leader with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and performance improvement
