The Plant Manager will lead and oversee all functions across a financially sound site. This includes goals, objectives, tactical and strategic operational plans. This role is highly visible and will have the autonomy to promote positive changes, as well as innovate while driving operational change.
Ideal Experience
- Experience successfully leading all functional team members across a site, including HR, Safety, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Distribution.
- Experience driving a best-in-class safe manufacturing environment, through the creation and implementation of effective plant safety programs.
- Expertise in spearheading the implementation and execution of operational processes and improvements while communicating clearly defined objectives and gaining acceptance of those objectives.
- Expertise in the implementation, training, execution, and compliance of lean manufacturing practices.
- Experience reviewing, implementing, and analyzing operating results in relation to costs.
- Experience leading an organization that is actively engaged in growth.
- Demonstrate his/her ability to grow into increasing levels of responsibility and be considered a strong successor candidate within the functional organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, with at least 8 years of progressive experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience in high-volume plastics, chemical, or related manufacturing industries.

- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks, and consistently meeting critical deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to senior leadership.
