Rapid Xchange is a family-owned propane cylinder exchange delivery company that services all sort of commercial and industrial businesses throughout the Southeast US and we are constantly GROWING!

We are seeking a full-time, experienced, and career minded Plant Manager with experience in a plant processing or manufacturing environment. Our ideal candidate is a working manager who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and is committed to safety and leading their team in a positive manner.

Core Responsibilities:

Leading a team of 20+ plant line employees including maintenance personnel in day-to-day operations.

Hiring, training, coaching, and separation of staff as necessary.

Promote and account for safe work practices and training.

Prioritize and multi-task refurbishing processes each day to meet production levels.

Maintain inventory levels to meet production needs.

Audit vendor contracts to maintain P&L budget requirements.

Liaise with regulatory agencies for on-site inspections.

Step into function-specific roles as necessary to continue production.

Collaborate with other members of the leadership team across different departments.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

College degree in manufacturing or operations or 3 years on the job experience as equivalent.

Experience in the propane, natural gas, or refined fuels industry is preferred but not required.

Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working knowledge of OSHA, DHS, EPA and PHMSA standards.

In-depth experience with Process Safety Management.
