Role Summary / Objective
The Plat CAD+QC Specialist is responsible for driving excellence at front-end processes to further enhance speed, accuracy, and overall client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong mathematical, computer, analytic and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading, mentoring, advising, and training teams and individuals, is a plus.
- Credentials, certifications, and/or licenses in relevant fields are a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, IT, or related field; in lieu of a degree, 1-3 years experience working in surveying, drafting, or other relevant field or position.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate CAD programs while utilizing optimal drafting techniques and practices
- Input information into CAD drawings from plats, construction related documents, and checklists
- Ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and completely
- Conduct Quality Control review on completed drafting orders to ensure accuracy
- Identify potential issues and escalate to supervisor when necessary
- Address, resolve, and/or escalate problems as appropriate.
- Maintain a robust understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
