We are looking for someone like you to join our team in a community-based setting in Washington, DC! In this part-time role, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s emotional and behavioral well-being, using the power of play therapy to help them overcome challenges and thrive.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

🎲 Provide play therapy to children to address emotional, developmental, and behavioral concerns.

🧸 Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate with families to develop individualized treatment plans.

🧠 Utilize evidence-based play therapy techniques to help children process their emotions and build coping skills.

💬 Communicate effectively with caregivers, offering guidance and support to enhance treatment outcomes.

📋 Maintain accurate and timely documentation, in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

🤝 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for children and their families.

📋 Qualifications:

🎓 Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

🏛️ Active licensure in Washington, DC (LPC, LGPC, LGSW, or LICSW).

🛠️ Specialized training and experience in play therapy.

💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

💖 A passion for working with children and their families in a community setting.

🕒 Schedule:

Part-time only, with flexible hours during office hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
