We are looking for an experienced dedicated Plumber Apprentice to assist our Plumber Journeyman while improving their own skills. The responsibilities of a Plumber Apprentice include assembling pipes, water lines, drainage and trenching. You will be handling tools, cleaning job sites and work directly under the Journeyman. The Apprentice Plumber can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own. The ideal candidate would be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice with New Construction experience.

Successful apprentice plumber will be well-organized and detail oriented. You should have good customer service and interpersonal skills, be able and willing to follow instructions. Must be currently enrolled in trade school or be willing to attend trade school.

Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities:

Installing, repairing or replacing pipes and parts.

Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.

Rough and sub rough installation, including trenching in New Construction homes

Helping the Journeyman plumber, ensuring that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.

Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.

Loading and unloading materials

Apprentice Plumber Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Plumbing: at least 1 year of solid plumbing experience (Required)

Vocational plumbing school: 1 year (Required)or ability to attend

Driver’s License (Required) and clean driving record

Willingness to learn the trade and and commit to obtaining an Apprentice Plumbing License

Adept at using the basic plumbing tool

Good math skills for accurate measurements.

Excellent manual dexterity.

Strong active listening skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in all types of weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must pass a back ground check and a pre-employment drug screen( We do not allow possession or use of a Medical Marijuana Card)
