Position : Infor ERP Specialist

Location : New Bedford, MA- Hybrid Opportunities for right candidate

Company Information: Plumbers’ Supply Company is a growth oriented, privately held plumbing and HVAC wholesaler with 19 locations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Plumbers’ Supply is looking for strong candidate to join our team as an Infor ERP Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, training and preparation for an upgrade from Sx Version 6.1.0 to Infor’s Cloudsuite platform, as well as providing ongoing ERP support to 200 plus users.

Responsibilities :

The candidate is expected to:

• Work with the management team on the design, planning and implementation of CloudSuite
• Serve as a liaison and counterpart while working with application vendors and other internal/external partners used in conjunction with the ERP
• Review existing legacy modifications, get an understanding of their purpose and whether they are currently being utilized.
• Act as a project leader on any upgrade initiatives including conversion to CSD
• Work closely with Infor Alliance Partners and relevant vendors to stay updated on system upgrades, patches, and enhancement
• Write, maintain & update documents related to implementation and best practices across all business departments: sales, operations and accounting.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Infor ERP system, ensuring system availability, performance, and security
• Provide end-user support and training to ensure proper utilization of the ERP system. Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with coworkers to resolve problems. Track and communicate recurring issues to management.
• Ensure proper training and smooth onboarding for new users. Create and maintain documentation for system processes and user guidelines
• Implement system enhancements and changes as needed
• Identify opportunities for process optimization within the ERP system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field experience
• Proven experience with Infor ERP Systems (Sx) administration and configuration, preferably CSD experience. Experience with Infor Document Management a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members
• Prior experience in end-user training and support
• Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
• Previous distribution experience is a plus

In 1977, Plumbers’ Supply Company, with its single location in New Bedford, was acquired by Snow & Jones from the Holcomb family. The Plumbers’ Supply Company name was retained.

In 1980 James “Jimmie” Jones and his two sons Kevin and Jay parted from Snow & Jones with the New Bedford and Taunton locations. This became the start of the current ownership of Plumbers’ Supply Company. Since 1980, through a series of acquisitions and branch openings, Plumbers’ Supply Company has grown from two branches to sixteen wholesale locations, three kitchen and bath showrooms and a distribution center. Kevin and Jay continue to own and operate the business today.
