    General Job Description:

    The Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a client base, managing plumbing sales, and coordinating field labor needs for each project in collaboration with field leadership. This role requires sound judgment and discretion in representing the company, along with a strong commitment to both the work and the overall success of the business.

    Key Skills & Experiences:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of experience estimating, designing, and/or managing plumbing projects ranging from $50,000 to over $25 million.

    • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including potable water distribution, drainage, venting, and fixture installations for commercial, and industrial applications.

    • Experience with stormwater management, sanitary waste systems, waste piping, and compliance with stringent building codes for high-rise and institutional facilities.

    • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and successfully develop new business opportunities while managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently.

    • Demonstrates strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to high-quality project execution.

    • Ability to coordinate with diverse teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients.

    • Familiarity with ADA-compliant fixtures, water filtration, energy-efficient systems, and plumbing regulations for commercial and governmental facilities.

    • Active participation in industry or community organizations is encouraged to stay informed on advancements and best practices in plumbing and construction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Management: The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for ACCO and the customer, overseeing all project management functions, including sales, estimating, procurement, execution, and field coordination, to ensure successful job completion.
    • Financial Management: Manage job costs through forecasting, budget projections, cost control, and accurate billing while ensuring proper documentation for contracts, change orders, and legal protection.

    • Relationship Management: Foster strong internal and external relationships by leading client meetings, developing contracts, coordinating with all departments, and maintaining positive interactions with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.

    • Communication: Facilitate effective communication by consulting with internal teams, attending project meetings, and coordinating pre-construction kickoff meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

    • Resource Utilization: Leverage internal resources by coordinating staff across departments to meet customer requirements and ensure project success.

    • Mentorship & Development: Actively mentor and support team members through recruiting, training, and coaching initiatives while participating in special assignments to support department growth and company goals.
