    ** The Role**

    Mullen Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to safely diagnose, install, and repair plumbing systems in both residential and some commercial settings that effectively lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

    ** Primary Duties/Responsibilities of Role**

    • Install pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, complete drain cleaning as well as other Plumbing related in-home services
    • Effectively handle a variety of Plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally
    • Test systems for leaks and properly diagnose other Plumbing problems.
    • Be clean and thorough in performing inspections and provide accurate advice to homeowners, including use of shoe covers or other protective equipment to keep the customer’s home clean.
    • Understand service criteria and hold yourself accountable for meeting and/or exceeding revenue goals.
    • Partner with Call Center and Dispatch to ensure the business's overall success.
    • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
    • Debrief with the Dispatcher after every completed job to ensure proper invoicing, documentation, and uploading of job photos into Service Titan.
    • Actively participate in scheduled trainings, meetings, and other development opportunities to continue professional growth.
    • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure timely, accurate repairs and installations.
    • Be detailed, accurate, and timely with invoices, timecards, feedback, and option sheets.
    • Expand opportunities to covert jobs by educating and providing customers with options and helping them choose the best financing options and maintenance plans.

    Other Duties and Expectations

    • Keep your company vehicle clean, inside and out.
    • Company vehicles should always have the appropriate fuel levels.
      • If you have the privilege of being assigned a company vehicle for transportation to drive to/from work, it is expected that fuel be put in company vehicles prior to the start of your scheduled shift each day.
    • Keep your vehicle inventory stocked and organized
      • Including Materials, Invoices and other forms required to successfully complete scheduled jobs.
    • Properly complete and turn in all paperwork, including packing slips and receipts associated with scheduled jobs.
    • Be available for on-call rotation.
    • Maintain a clean and professional appearance by wearing a company-issued uniform.
    • Maintain a clean and safe driving record and operate the company vehicle with courtesy and respect for others.
    • Establish good customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
      • Show up at your scheduled time every day, ready to work.
      • Be courteous, polite, and respectful of customers and their homes, at all times
      • Be coachable and have a willingness to learn and grow in your role.
      • Licensed with knowledge of local Plumbing codes and the ability to make accurate on-the-job applications.
      • Successful in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and repair.
      • Be organized and responsible.
      • Have good verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
      • Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.
      • A competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a Team.
