Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. As a Plumbing Technician at NJ Pipe Dr, you will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building codes.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and answer questions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role.
Valid plumbing license or certification (if applicable).
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems.
