POSITION: REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY

Location: Columbus, OH

Plunkett Cooney, one of the largest and most accomplished law firms in the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to add to the Columbus, Ohio team.

The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney, with a client-centric philosophy, and who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in complex environments.

To be considered, candidates must:

• Have at least 3 or more years of experience in general real estate litigation and other general business matters
• Be familiar with seller/purchaser disputes, foreclosure, real estate transaction fraud, escrow disputes, residential/commercial/equipment leases
• Have experience representing lenders, national mortgage loan servicers, and property owners
• Have excellent research and communication skills are required
• Be comfortable learning new computer software
• Have a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school, and
• Be a member, in good standing and active, in the Ohio Bar

We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments with significant client contact. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
