    NOW HIRING IMMEDIATE Vending Machine Route Drivers in Austin, Texas! Apply today and interview this week! Schedule: Monday through Friday, shifts may vary. Days/hours will vary. Hours: 15 hours/week with room to grow into a full-time position as the company grows. Compensation: $18/hr +mileage reimbursement ($0.585/mi). Summary: The Route Driver drives their personal vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains vending equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of the company at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. The Route Driver is responsible for installation, set-up, merchandising, and spotting repairs at customer accounts. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but the company may identify other responsibilities of the position. Training specific to the machines will be provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Merchandising Self-schedule between 8am and 6pm M-F Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines Visit accounts weekly/bi-weekly to: Merchandise - label printer will be provided Restock - follow inventory pick lists on mobile app created by operations team Clean - clean the machines to company and venue partner standards. (Cleaning supplies provided) Pick up inventory shipments from UPS Mailbox, then take them to the assigned storage unit. May have to pick up inventory from distributors or wholesalers such as Sam's Club and/or Costco. Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance. Prior to beginning the day's route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required according to pick lists to properly service all scheduled markets following outlined operational procedures. Listens to and resolves service complaints, or escalates to the operations team as required. Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays and/or issues sales promotion materials to customers. This includes new product displays. Accountable for all inventory. Texas valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations. Light Maintenance Responds to service calls for machine repairs and must arrive on-site within 12 to 24-hour hours (training and toolbox will be provided). Installs and ensures proper functioning of the vending machines. Inspects machines/parts, identifies wear, troubleshoot malfunctions, misalignments, machine failures, etc. Replaces and/or repairs defective parts (if capable); makes adjustments and tests machines. Communicates effectively with customer and Pod Plug Ops Team on the status of the repair. Completes necessary online documentation and reporting regarding service calls. Recommends ideas to prevent recurrence of malfunction. Conducts preventative maintenance on machines. Maintains clean and safe work environment; performs job safely. Day to day activities Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs) above shoulder height without assistance. Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis. Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment. Able to work independently, responsible for route. Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance. Maintains a positive attitude in all dealings with the customers. Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time regularly Must be able to pass background check. Must exercise Ethics and Integrity at ALL times. Good to Know Basic understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.). Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.) Establishing and maintaining regular work schedules (e.g. visiting same venues around the same days/times every week.)
