We are looking for a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care, managing clinical operations, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our facility.
5 Major Roles
Patient Care & Support:
Assist patients with their needs and concerns, providing compassionate support during their visits.
Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all patients.
Clinical Management:
Support clinical staff in managing patient flow and coordinating appointments.
Monitor patient records and assist with the preparation of clinical documentation.
Facility/Supply Management:
Oversee the management of clinical supplies and equipment to ensure availability and functionality.
Coordinate facility maintenance and cleanliness to uphold health and safety standards.
Patient Education/Compliance:
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to ensure understanding and compliance.
Provide resources and materials to support patient health literacy.
Administrative Support:
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and handling correspondence.
Assist in the preparation of reports and data management as required.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
