    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care for patients with foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions. The Podiatrist will diagnose and treat a variety of ailments, perform surgical procedures when necessary, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and promote overall wellness

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.
    • Perform surgical procedures to correct deformities, treat injuries, and manage chronic conditions.
    • Prescribe medications, orthotics, and other therapeutic devices as needed.
    • Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
    • Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
    • Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in podiatric practice

    Qualifications

    • Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
    • Licensure: Valid state license to practice podiatric medicine.
    • Certification: Board certification by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) is preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
    • Skills: Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
