Thorough knowledge of prevention science and practice to include research based frameworks and models (i.e. Strategic Prevention Framework, Institute of Medicine and Public Health model), systems development, current contextual issues and evidenced based services from interagency, federal, state and community based approaches and perspectives.
· Provide ongoing monitoring and Technical Assistance (TA) to each of the 7 sub-recipients (Community Services Boards) to ensure compliance with Substance Abuse Mental Health Service Administration (Center for Substance Abuse Prevention) guidelines and DBHDS requirements.
· Provide information to prepare required reports in an accurate and timely manner.
· Provide relevant TA and informational resources to the 7 sub-recipients to support their planning, selection, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of evidence-based, culturally sensitive programs, practices, and policies in accordance with the Strategic Prevention Framework, and as informed by their community needs assessments.
