GENERAL SUMMARY
Maintains the appearance of the pool deck daily while assisting guests. Ensures a clean, safe, and fun environment for guests at the pool.
CORE SCOPE OF POSITION
- Greets guest, distributes towels, and assists them in finding seats.
- Cleans furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, and surrounding areas.
- Scrubs the pool deck and removes the debris from the pool.
- Collects and replenishes pool towels.
- Removes trash, cups, and other items.
- Ensures pool cleanliness at all times. Inspects the pool area for safety.
- Attends brief staff meeting for update on ongoing hotel activities and promotions.
- Attends all scheduled training sessions and meetings and is prepared to practice swim and rescue skills.
- Periodically checks on guests to ensure comfort.
- Monitors use of facility and address and/or reports potential hazards to help ensure guest safety.
- Responds and resolves guest issues, refers guests to management as needed.
- Ensures guest expectations are exceeded by catering to the guests’ needs.
- Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
- Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Performs all other duties as assigned

- Must be willing to be trained and become CPR/Lifesaving certified.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Experience
** EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be able to be certified in blood borne pathogens/bio-hazardous material clean up (training will be provided).
EXPERIENCE
- Three or more months of related experience and/or training.
- Guest service experience.
