OFFICE ASSISTANT / SOUTH POINT OH - INDUSTRIAL VALVE & PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

With facilities in New Castle PA, Tallmadge and South Point OH, Blountville TN, Richmond VA. JOB TITLE: Office Assistant LOCATION: South Point, OH REPORTS TO: Inside Sales Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Data Entry
• Develop quotations and establish lead time, conduct order placement
• Establish rapport and ongoing customer relationships
• Handle incoming sales calls with knowledge and professionalism
• Answer technical questions with assistance from production, as necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication skills and proven ability to maintain high customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast paced environment. (CRITICAL)
• Strong work ethic which includes the willingness to accept “ownership” of assigned tasks and to accept “accountability” for those tasks.
• Must be a team player able and work closely with other support personnel.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• QuickBooks Enterprise and CRM software experience beneficial

Physical satellite service centers are located in Tallmadge and South Point OH, Kingsport TN, and Richmond VA. All of these centers are supported by the primary operation in New Castle PA, which is housed in a brand new 60,000 square foot building. Portersville PRD is a factory authorized manufacturer representative for a comprehensive line of Industrial Valves and Instrumentation products to service all industries. Our personnel are factory trained and certified to assist our customers in complete sizing and specification of these products and our service department is nationally recognized to assemble and repair all brands and types of safety relief, control, and other inline valves.
