American Heritage Lending, LLC located in Irvine CA is looking for a Post-Closing Collateral Specialist.

Position Overview:
Post-Closing Collateral Specialist is a member of American Heritage Lending, LLC team and will work directly with the Post Closing Team. We are looking for a Post-Closing Collateral Specialist who will be responsible for reviewing mortgage loan documents, validate system data entry, ship loan documents to third party collateral vendor and manages document tracking with other departments & title companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Prioritize, process, and expedite all inbound collateral packages to ensure timely shipment in accordance with warehouse banks' and investors' schedules. • Process collateral packages, which includes working from a checklist, separating essential documents such as the Note and Security Instrument as per warehouse bank/investor requirements. • Conduct thorough reviews of collateral documents to ensure accuracy; promptly communicate and coordinate corrections as necessary. • Execute data entry tasks to record and manage each collateral file within the designated system of record. • Ensure packaging and timely shipment of collateral packages daily, adhering to end-of-business deadlines. • Prepare and deliver shipping manifests and data tapes to warehouse banks on a daily basis, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all shipments. • Scrutinize Final and Trailing Documents received in Closing Packages for scanning and archival purposes. • Initiate contact with title companies to procure any outstanding documentation required by warehouse banks, ensuring complete and compliant collateral packages. • Facilitate Note transfers from warehouse custodians to investors in preparation for trading activities. • Provide support and assistance across various operational tasks and initiatives as required by business needs.
Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
• 2+ years of experience as Post Closing Collateral Specialist required • 3+ years of experience in or knowledge of the Mortgage industry required • Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data • Demonstrated experience using available information to make sound business decisions • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment • Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines • Demonstrated experience with MS Office software products • Encompass Loan Origination Software: 2 year (Preferred)
