    Job Description:

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Postpartum Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating postpartum mental health conditions and a passion for supporting new parents through their unique challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose postpartum mental health conditions such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and psychosis.

    Provide individual, group, or family therapy to address emotional and psychological challenges related to childbirth and parenting.

    Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

    Offer counseling on coping strategies, stress management, and adjustment to parenthood.

    Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as obstetricians and pediatricians, to ensure comprehensive care.

    Provide crisis intervention and support in cases of severe mental health crises.

    Conduct follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.

    Licensure as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, or marriage and family therapist.

    Experience working with postpartum mental health issues is preferred.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
