_ ABOUT THE JOB_
As the Power BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data analytics to develop comprehensive reports and visualizations, enhancing decision-making processes at Galileo Learning. This role requires a collaborative spirit, exceptional communication skills, and a strong technical background in data analysis and visualization.
_ YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:_
Data Analysis & Visualization
Develop Interactive Dashboards: Design and implement interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI to meet organizational needs.
Data Models & Insights: Identify and understand business requirements within the context of Business Intelligence (BI), developing data models to turn raw data into actionable insights.
KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and achieve specific objectives.
Technical Execution
Power BI Development: Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, conducting in-depth analyses to ensure efficiency.
Advanced Data Manipulation: Utilize DAX queries and functions within Power BI for advanced data manipulation.
Data Integration: Construct and maintain a data warehouse to consolidate various data sources. Employ SQL queries to extract and analyze data effectively.
Collaboration & Communication
Report Presentation: Perform data analysis and present findings in clear, concise reports to support strategic decisions.
Requirement Translation: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, outlining timelines for project milestones.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders, including the CFO, to define and align on data needs and project goals.

_ COMPENSATION_
We anticipate total compensation for this Full-Time, exempt position to be $67,000-$83,000. Exact compensation may vary and will be based on multiple factors, including geography and professional experience.

WORK LOCATION
Remote, work-from-home, location is possible in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas, North Carolina, New York, or Washington. We are currently only able to employ candidates who are based in the states listed here.
Employees located in the San Francisco Bay area adhere to a hybrid office and work-from-home policy. Galileo Headquarters is located at 111 Myrtle St, Ste 300, Oakland, CA 94607.
SCHEDULE & TIME COMMITMENT
This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week. While we prioritize work-life balance, there may be times when additional hours are necessary to meet deadlines and ensure the success of our programs. Additionally, HQ staff are expected to visit camp locations from June through August to experience camp first-hand and support our teams on the ground; 10-15% travel may be required for those located outside of a camp territory.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with an emphasis on financial analysis.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or Finance is a plus but not required
Having worked in summer camps, education or similar organizations is a plus!
Proven experience with BI tools and systems, particularly Power BI.
Strong background in data analysis and financial reporting.
Familiarity with the Microsoft BI Stack and proficiency in MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies such as SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, and DAX.
Understanding of key financial concepts and the ability to apply them in data analysis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and resolve system-related challenges with empathy and true partnership.

Additional Information
