JOB SUMMARY

The Beverage Merchandiser (Sales Trainee) will service, sell, and deliver Red Bull to, an assigned route of accounts; while maintaining Red Bull merchandising standards in all accounts. A Beverage Merchandiser (Sales Trainee) is a position designed to evolve into our Account Manager role.

JOB DETAILS

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

• FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Service, sell, and deliver Red Bull products to, an assigned route of accounts
• Ensure that a proper level of stock is maintained and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.
• Proper rotation of Red Bull products to avoid out of code or damaged product
• Ensure all Red Bull products are merchandised in compliance with shelf schematics in chain and independent stores
• Perform resets to Red Bull product standards
• Develop and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers
• As business needs adjust, other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of Power Distributing’s sales processes and merchandising procedures
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory
• Understanding of using navigation device to travel on and off route
• Basic math aptitude

REQUIRED OTHER

• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and proof of insurance
• Proven safe driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be at least 21 years old

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required
• Merchandising or sales experience (preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds at a time
• Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladder, be on feet for a long period of time
• Must be prepared to travel, drive, and engage in considerable physical activity

COMPENSATION

• $16.01 per hour
• Benefits package upon eligibility
• Overtime when available
