NexGen is currently seeking a Power Platform Developer to work across the Microsoft Power Apps Platform as a service suite to build custom business apps that meet the needs of our Federal Government clients. You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team that includes project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. You and the team design, develop, implement, and maintain all solutions and communicate your progress with stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Propose system design of Power Platform products to meet new project requirements.
Work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions.
Work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical, facilitating interactive design and functional specification sessions.
Drive innovation and collaboration with the newest advancements and features within the Power Platform.
Define criteria and conduct proof of concepts, proof of value, and prototyping to evaluate product and feature value and consideration for the organization.
Partner with IT Leaders on business case development with careful consideration of migrating from current or legacy solutions and approaches.
Provide post-production support including the implementation of fixes and enhancements.
Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with the staff to identify, address and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

Technical Skills:
3 years of relevant experience with the Power Platform is required.
In-depth knowledge of the entire Power Platform stack (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages).
Business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
An eye for clean, easy to use, UI/UX implementations.
Experience developing Canvas and Model Driven applications.
Experience with Data Engineering concepts including:
Data pipeline implementation.
Dataverse and developing Power Apps applications that leverage Dataverse as the data source.
Migrating Various data sources and workflows to PowerApps and Power Automate.
Understanding of data privacy and information security best practices.
Experience in Automating Business Processes with Power Automate.
Ability to create custom connectors for PowerApps and Power Automate.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.
