Power Solutions Business Development Intern - 6 months
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Intern to join our team. As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with our PRM (Product, Research & Marketing) and Customer Success Manager to support key initiatives aimed at expanding the client base, identifying new business opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. This internship offers a hands-on experience in the business development process and an opportunity to learn about key industry trends and the dynamics of business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
• Support the development of sales strategies and outreach programs to attract potential clients.
• Help in the creation of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment on strategies.
• Participate in client meetings, calls, and networking events as needed.
• Analyze competitors, identify market gaps, and assist in developing strategies to capitalize on them.
• Prepare regular reports on business development progress and performance metrics.
• Support administrative tasks and other duties related to the business development department.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• Strong interest in business development, sales, and market research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and eagerness to learn.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA (Master of Business Administration) or pursuing an MBA.
• Previous internship or work experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with data analysis and market segmentation.
• Knowledge of current industry trends (automotive / connected technology) and business development best practices.
