Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PowerOn Symitar Developer to join our team. This role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting custom solutions within the Symitar core banking platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PowerOn, a deep understanding of Symitar workflows, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy PowerOn programs to meet business requirements.

• Customize and maintain Symitar core banking software to optimize performance.

• Create and modify batch programs, reports, and SymForm transactions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Symitar PowerOn scripts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

• Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal stakeholders.

• Stay current on Symitar updates and recommend system improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience with PowerOn programming within the Symitar platform.

• Familiarity with Symitar Episys core system modules and functionalities.

• Proficiency in scripting languages and database management (e.g., RepGen, jBase, SQL).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in the banking or credit union industry is a plus.
