Summary of description: Performs a variety of customer service , in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to selling, ordering and receiving of powersports parts and accessories for the dealership.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell powersport products and or services to meet the customers needs.
Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he or she comes in contact with
Assist in keeping Parts Department clean and orderly
Create and handle parts sales transactions included taking form of payments
Assist the Service Department in ordering and receiving parts for customer powersport repairs
Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships and customers standards
Come out to the sales floor and assist customers in their needs for accessories and upgrades to their powersport
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain an exceptional environment for arriving customers
Manage a cash drawer and performing accurate collection of payments from customers
Attends manufacturer training as assigned by their manager
Makes and takes phone calls from potential customers
Assist with daily inventory checks of dealership parts and accessories
Qualifications and requirements:
Must be able to work the dealerships scheduled operating days and hours
Current retail parts sales experience is a must
Mechanical knowledge of how engines and vehicles work
Ability to speak effectively one on one is a must
Basic computer skills is a must
Good organizational skills is a must
Requires the use of both hands
frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle boxes and parts that may exceed 60 lbs.
