    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic person to fulfil a unique position. It includes working directly with the property and business owner as an assistant while also hosting the short term rentals of the owner at an established company. In this position you would be responsible for directly managing all aspects of the assigned short term residential rental properties (Host). In addition, office organization and a support to the owner would be required. Working with the owner may result in tasks assigned from helping with office meetings, to inputting accounting transactions into software. As a successful host, your goals are to maintain high occupancy rates, maximize profitability, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both the property owner and guest.     Responsibilities

    Advertise vacation and short term rental properties

    Show properties to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities, when applicable (usually as a result of wedding rentals)

    Maintain processes and organization in the office and business operations

    Accept payments and provide receipts

    Respond to guest inquiries and to any concerns via the Host phone and programs

    Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and events, adjusting pricing as needed

    Entering items into Quickbooks and appropriately coding to correct accounts

    Inspect properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs

    Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Proven working experience in property management

    High school diploma/GED required

    Deep understanding of customer service and work ethic

    Up-to-date on the local ongoing items

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills with efficient execution

    Experience with property management software preferred

    Office work will be required to the tune of 20-24 hours/week. Hours may change as we assess and based on abilities. Host hours will be on an as needed basis.

    Hours/days in the office: Wednesdays and Fridays are a must. Other hours and times can be flexible. This is a salary position. Ability to answer calls/texts/emails outside business hours is a pre-requisite of this position, as most vacation stays happen over the weekends. Set number of hours in office and then bonuses paid on performance of properties.
