Position Summary:

Assist in various field operations tasks under the guidance of experienced field professionals. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience and technical training in preparation for a formal apprenticeship with UA Local 234, a great career in the plumbing, pipe fitting and HVAC trades. The Pre-Apprentice will be involved in a range of activities that support the successful execution of field projects while learning industry-specific skills and safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties include but are not limited to helping a journeyman prep material, install hangers, maintain and keep up with tools and equipment, but most importantly show up on time with a good attitude, ready to learn and develop into tomorrow’s leadership.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of one (1) year experience/education in Construction or other technical field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Climb a ladder

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead

Work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with opportunities for overtime.
