KCW Psychological Services: Our goal is to help clients maintain mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness practices, as well as feelings of HOPE, growth, and self-acceptance. We ALL can benefit from therapy, guidance, and healing.

New Hire for Pre-Clinical Licensed Therapist (PCLT) Position with KCW Psychological Services- BIPOC Focused

KCW Psychological Services (KCWPSYCH) is a unique practice servicing clients in California, New York, New Jersey, and Maryland via telehealth therapy. We are growing and need to hire a Pre-Clinical Licensed Therapist (PCLT)!

This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours/week). We are looking to hire someone who is a good fit for our practice and our clients.

This is an ideal position for someone who is working elsewhere, as their caseload would build over time (average 3-6 months). This is also a great position for someone who is interested in working with BIPOC clients in a private practice setting but is not interested in performing administrative duties (e.g., billing, marketing/advertising, other practice management duties…etc). This position could be ideal for someone who wants to provide therapy to clients making their own schedule, who wants to build up a caseload, make additional income seeing clients, and/or who need hours towards licensure. Pre Clinical Licensed therapists (PCLT) have the flexibility to schedule clients during the day, evening, and weekend hours. Ideally, we want a therapist who, once licensed, is looking to remain with the practice on a long-term basis.

This position is also ideal for someone who enjoys participating and co-planning/facilitating in-person community-based outreach and engagement events (e.g., wellness events, speaking engagements on behalf of KCWPSYCH…etc) within the greater Los Angeles county area.

We pride ourselves on being BIPOC tele-mental health therapists that want to create a private practice community of these types of therapists who facilitate hope and healing through mental health and wellness practices/techniques. We are focused on providing services to people who identify as being within the BIPOC, women/men/individuals of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as other underrepresented groups in the mental health space. We are socially aware -affirmative mental health clinicians; this is a must in order to be considered for this position.

Our Clients: Pre-Teen and Teen (12-17), High functioning Young Adults (ages 18-20), Adults (ages 21- 64). Our clients tend to struggle with Anxiety, Stress, Trauma, Depression, Self-Esteem, Interpersonal relationships (family, platonic, romantic), Work-life balance, School-life balance, life transitions, Perfectionism, Racial Trauma, and adults who have undergone foster-care /adoption/transracial adoptive experiences… to name a few.
