Responsibilities: • Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, updates, and support throughout the pre-litigation process. • Case Management: Organize and oversee all aspects of client files, including medical records, bills, and settlement demands, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Insurance Coordination: Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims and settlements. • Medical Coordination: Assist clients in scheduling and tracking medical treatments while verifying records and balances. • Legal Support: Prepare legal documents, settlement demand letters, and comprehensive demand packages in collaboration with attorneys and legal assistants. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and the legal team to resolve issues, move cases forward efficiently, and maintain up-to-date case management systems. • Problem Solving: Address emerging issues promptly to ensure cases stay on track and clients receive the attention they deserve. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing personal injury cases before litigation is required. • Education: A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are preferred but not mandatory. • Skills and Expertise: • Proficient in legal processes and document handling. • Strong multitasking abilities with a self-motivated work ethic. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Comfortable using software such as spreadsheets, word processors, and case management tools. • Tech-savviness is highly advantageous. • Preferred Attributes: • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently meets deadlines. • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
