Your Role: As a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting clients through the early stages of their personal injury claims. Your expertise in case management, client communication, and technology-driven legal support will ensure our clients receive the best possible care and case outcomes. Responsibilities: • Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and support throughout the pre-litigation process. • Case Management: Organize and oversee all aspects of client files, including medical records, bills, and settlement demands, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Insurance Coordination: Communicate with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims. • Medical Coordination: Assist clients in scheduling and tracking medical treatments while verifying records and balances. • Legal Support: Prepare legal documents, settlement demand letters, and comprehensive demand packages in collaboration with attorneys and legal assistants. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and the legal team to resolve issues, move cases forward efficiently, and maintain up-to-date case management systems. • Technology Utilization: Use advanced case management software, cloud-based legal tools, and digital document management systems to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing personal injury cases in a pre-litigation setting. • Strong knowledge of personal injury claim processes, including medical record handling, settlement negotiations, and insurance communication. • Tech-savvy and comfortable using legal technology , including: Case management software (e.g., SmartAdvocate, Litify, or similar ), Cloud-based legal platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and take proactive steps to keep cases moving forward. • A 2-year degree and/or paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
