    Michigan Auto Law, Michigan’s premier plaintiff’s personal injury auto law firm, is looking for a dedicated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join the firm’s top-producing team. The right person should be passionate about achieving justice for their clients after being seriously injured in an auto accident. While familiarity with Michigan's no-fault auto law is preferred, it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn, reliable, and takes pride in their work. Compensation commensurate with experience Responsibilities: • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the pre-litigation phase, providing updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns. • Case Intake & Investigation: Assist with the initial intake of new clients and gather and review all necessary documentation, including accident reports, medical records, and insurance information. • Medical Records Management: Obtain and organize medical records, bills, and other relevant documents to support the client's claim. • Demand Package Preparation: Draft and submit comprehensive demand letters to insurance companies, summarizing the client's case, injuries, and damages. • File Management: Maintain and organize case files, ensuring that all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence are properly stored and easily accessible. • Collaboration with Attorneys: Work closely with pre-litigation attorneys to ensure cases are progressing efficiently and are ready for settlement negotiations or litigation if necessary. • Tracking Deadlines: Monitor case deadlines, including statute of limitations, and ensure timely filing of claims. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or experience in personal injury law. • Proficient in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems. • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
