About the Role Amazing Athletes is looking for Mobile Coaches and Assistant Coaches to join our team in Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale. This is a part-time position with the potential for increased hours as our programs grow. Coaches will lead sports and fitness classes for children in schools and daycare centers across the area.

Available Hours: A total of 10-15 hours per week Monday-Friday.

Pay: Based on experience.

About Amazing Athletes

Amazing Athletes is a fun, structured program that introduces children to a variety of sports while helping to build coordination, self-esteem, and a lifelong love of fitness. Our program focuses on children ages 3-10, providing them with the skills and confidence to enjoy sports in a positive and supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For

We need energetic, outgoing, and passionate coaches who are comfortable leading sports and fitness classes for young children. Ideal candidates should have a positive, upbeat attitude and be flexible to adapt to a dynamic, changing environment.

Key Qualities:

Upbeat, Positive, and Energetic

Love for Children

Experience with Young Children: preferred, but not required; background checks are mandatory

Athletic Background: either as a participant or coach; preferred but not necessary

Reliable Transportation: must have a car and valid driver's license

Flexibility: availability to work weekday mornings and afternoons

Key Responsibilities

Prepare: Review and follow approved lesson plans for all classes.

Teach: Lead sports and fitness activities using our approved curriculum.

Engage: Communicate with school directors, teachers, and parents about the program and student progress.

Monitor Attendance: Ensure children are present and accounted for during each class.

Maintain Professionalism: Wear the approved uniform and present a professional image at all times.

Complete Paperwork: Ensure all required forms and reports are completed accurately and on time.

Collect Payment: Handle payment for classes when applicable.

Equipment: Transport and set up necessary class materials (equipment is provided).

Attendance & Coverage: Provide advance notice or arrange coverage for absences.

Job Requirements

Background Check: Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting, as required by the state.

Physical Ability: Must be in good physical condition to engage in activities like running, bending, jumping, and carrying equipment.

Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable speaking with children, parents, and facility staff.

Dependability: Must be prompt, reliable, and able to work independently.

Flexibility: Able to adapt to changing classroom dynamics and adjust to varying schedules.

Customer Service: Must demonstrate good judgment, patience, and a friendly, energetic attitude toward children and their families.

Team-Oriented: Ability to work well with others while also being self-motivated.
