POSITION SUMMARY :
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Proving Technician II. This individual will be responsible for the proving, inspection, and maintenance of liquid flow meters. Method Flow is looking for an individual who has the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, who is detail-oriented, and who has superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Must be able to complete the proving, inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance of a wide range of liquid flow meters.
- Must maintain measurement calibration data and historical records.
- Perform verification/calibration on meter communication transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, and other measurement related ancillary equipment.
- Detect measurement errors, correct volumes as needed and provide supporting documentation.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of imbalance measurement situations.
- Prepare measurement calibration tickets documentation.
- Troubleshooting of oil and gas facility automation equipment.
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly is required. Exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck.
- Prefer 3-5 years of experience in the following:
- Experience with different brands of gas flow meters
- Experience with liquid flow meters and their components
- Knowledge and experience with Oil and Gas Industry processes
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work in adverse weather conditions
- Must pass a post offer company drug and alcohol test
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
