    Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 pm 5 8 hour days call and weekends required 10 - 12 total days per month NH medical imagine required BLS required ACLS required RCIS or RT (R) Required Traveler must live greater than 50 miles from Dover, NH

    Cath Lab Tech(CV TECH) duties and responsibilities focus on giving patients timely care.

    Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and new staff training. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

    Qualifications

    Education and Work Experience

    Previous experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab; required

    Cardiovascular technician training program with an emphasis on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, is preferred.

    BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current

    Certified Cardiovascular Technician; CCPT (invasive emphasis), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), CCPT (invasive emphasis), preferred

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); is required.
