    Job description

    Cath Lab Tech(CV TECH) duties and responsibilities focus on giving patients timely care.

    Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and new staff training. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

    *** Cath Lab Tech - 40hrs, Days - 7:00am - 5:30pm ***

    1. Unit Name: Cardiac Cath Lab – Tech.
    2. Shift: 4x10 Days 7a-5:00p *with 1 Wknd of Call per month.
    3. Brief Unit Description: Cardiac catheterization and EP lab. 2 Rooms. PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations etc.
    4. Years of Experience: 3+ yrs of recent experience required. Interventional Cardiac experience, Scrub experience, & EPIC experience required.
    5. Skill Sets Required: Cath/EP lab experience.
    6. Patient Population: Adult.
    7. EMR (Charting System): EPIC -cupid.
    8. Floating Required: No.
    9. Certifications Required: Active MA ARRT License, BLS & ACLS.
