Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) and Calcium Scoring to join our dynamic imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans, specializing in CCTA and Calcium Scoring studies.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal imaging protocols and accurate diagnostic results.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, including troubleshooting and quality control checks.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including radiation protection guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated on advancements in CT imaging, particularly in cardiac imaging techniques and technology.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience, with demonstrated expertise in CCTA and Calcium Scoring.
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) through ARRT or equivalent.
Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology.
Proficient in using modern CT imaging equipment and post-processing software.
Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with 3D image reconstruction and advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
