Freight Brokerage Sales Representative (Customer Representative)

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Building and managing a pipeline of clients
· Booking loads (sales and negotiation), tracking and tracing freight, and providing updates
· Performing sales activities such as phone calls and emails at a large volume
· Providing top services by problem-solving approach oriented to ease customers concerns
· Communicating with clients as efficiently as possible via email, phone calls, portals, and chats
· Building a book of business of reliable, consistent freight haulers across North America
· Collaborating with teammates to find creative, efficient, and profitable business solutions
· Optimizing carrier interactions, using every available opportunity to upsell and expand relationships
· Developing and maintaining partnership/network with clients and vendors through network expansion utilizing all available resources
· Continuously pursuing your own professional development and contributing that to your team
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
· You have a minimum of two years of experience as a broker/transportation solutions provider (or similar) with an established customer base
· You possess an entrepreneurial mindset that desires a full range of support to build your book of business and maximize your potential.
· You provide excellent customer service and are an effective communicator who is easily accessible
· You excel at and enjoy managing relationships with customers
· You are savvy at negotiating rates based on market conditions
· You are a naturally motivated and skilled salesperson who is driven to build your book by acquiring new customers and carriers daily
· You are a creative thinker who enjoys a competitive, team-based environment
· You are a strong multi-tasker who is adept at navigating multiple computer systems
· You have experience using CRM and TMS systems You are familiar with using KPI's as a measure of performance and accountability
The salary and commission combined will be approximately $100,000 dollars yearly
