    Roll and Co. is a dynamic and innovative Vietnamese quick service restaurant located in the heart of Brea Mall’s food court. We take pride in offering fresh and flavorful Vietnamese spring rolls made with high-quality ingredients in a fast and interactive dining experience. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team.

    Position Overview:

    The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking components of our signature spring rolls and other menu items with precision and efficiency. This position requires a strong independent individual able to manage their time and flow and be able to wear multiple hats in the BOH.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including components of the Vietnamese spring rolls, drink preparation, sauces, etc.

    • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of food products

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients

    • Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as needed to maintain inventory levels

    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, including proper food handling and storage procedures

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during peak hours

    • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of cooking stations

    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the restaurant

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment

    • Strong culinary skills with a focus on Vietnamese cuisine preferred, but not required

    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with all staff

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

    • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
