The Honu Restaurant is a contemporary eatery and traditional Hawaiian style tiki bar with a relaxed vibe serving island-style dishes. We serve unique and creative cocktails and mock-tails. Inside Honu is The Ka Pakele private rum bar with some of the most sought after and high end Rums from around the world. Quality is at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a line cook to work 10-4 wed & Thurs - Friday and Saturday 10-8 with a break around 4pm. Sunday would be nights 4-10:30 to join our team. We are closed Monday and Tuesday so you would always have those days off. Our pay structure is based on your ability to navigate the kitchen. Your success in learning how we do things can lead to higher pay rates and forward advancement in job title. There is room to grow here and we encourage you to move forward in your position. Our team is strong and cares about what we do here and we are looking for like minded cooks.

Responsibilities:
This position requires cooking & prepping while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Arrives for shifts in a clean uniform and maintains good hygiene.
Trained to be well versed in all menu items and daily specials.
Teamwork and clear communication are key
Assist co-workers when necessary.
Takes initiative and shares ideas to improve quality of service when opportunity arises.
Qualifications:
Ability to execute recipes and plating per Chef direction
Ability to safely operate all necessary equipment
