    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team! This is a full-time seasonal 3-month position working 7:30/8 a.m. - 4/4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. There is a potential for longer term opportunity with the company. The position works in our downtown Seattle location in an office with other co-workers.

    This is a small and mighty customer service team focused on online chats/tickets with our customers for customized apparel products spanning two websites and manufactured/sewn garments.

    Responsibilities for the position include:

    • Handle high volume online chats/tickets with customers regarding a variety of inquiries, including order status, product questions, school/store questions, and requests for refunds or replacement orders.
    • Manage direct user interaction with Prep Sportswear with a positive and professional brand experience for the customer.
    • Create a clear, consistent, and compelling experience across all customer touch points, from helping a customer navigate the website to answering order status questions.
    • Be willing to contact a customer via phone if the situation is such that it will help provide clarity that can not be provided via chat.
    • Participate in team conversations to improve the customer experience and willingness to take on special projects as they arise.
    • Participate in team projects that increase and improve the customer experience, and help with our social media ratings as requested by Customer Service Manager.

    Specific requirements for the position include:

    • 3+ years’ experience in customer service or related field.
    • Prior consumer products, online/ecommerce customer service experience, or higher volume Customer Service chat/ticket system experience highly desirable.
    • Prior experience working for a company that customer satisfaction is #1 priority.
    • Demonstrates reliability and dependable in previous positions (absolute must).
    • Good grammar and professional writing skills (absolute must).
    • Strong problem solving skills and innovative thinker.
    • Ability to work well with people, communicates effectively, and has a high level of attention to detail and organization/follow through.
    • Standard schedule Monday - Friday with some flexibility during holiday season (November - December) for possible overtime and/or weekend hours as needed.
    • Intermediate computer skills and experience with MS software (Word, and Gmail/email). Must be internet savvy.
    • AA/AS degree preferred or relevant work experience a plus.
