Liberty Private School is a nurturing and educational environment dedicated to the well-being and development of young children. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Cook to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our students while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and serve healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks following nutritional guidelines and any dietary restrictions.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Order and manage food inventory while staying within budget.

Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.

Collaborate with staff to create a positive mealtime experience for children.

Keep accurate records of meals served and inventory levels.

Follow all preschool policies and licensing regulations related to food service.

Accommodate children with food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare, school, or similar setting.

Knowledge of child nutrition and meal planning.

Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Must pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
