Assistant Director – New Preschool Opening!

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to help launch a brand-new preschool? We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This role is essential to establishing our school’s welcoming, enriching, and safe environment for children, families, and staff.

Position Overview: As the Assistant Director, you’ll work closely with the Director to support the daily operations, maintain a high standard of educational quality, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. You’ll be a key point of contact for families and staff, fostering a positive community atmosphere and helping our new school grow!

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the overall operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Support curriculum planning and implementation in accordance with the school's philosophy and standards.

Help recruit, train, and supervise teachers and staff, maintaining a culture of continuous learning and development.

Build strong relationships with families, addressing concerns and maintaining open communication.

Ensure compliance with local and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Experience in early childhood education, preferably with leadership or administrative experience.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for creating a positive, supportive environment for young learners and their families.
