The Goddard School® located in Marshallton (West Chester) is seeking a motivated and caring Teacher for our Pre-School room in the afternoons. The hours would be, approximately 1pm -6pm, with the option of working full days on Fridays. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. We are looking for a closing teacher for our Preschool room! Ideal hours are 1pm - 6pm but there is some flexibility.

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans

Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

Prepare/ clean up classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness

Supervise and provide individualized support to children

Assist in communicating with parents about their child’s progress and activities

Adhere to health and safety guidelines

Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
