Are you a dedicated professional with experience in managing daily operations and enrollment in an early childhood setting? We're seeking an organized and communicative Director who thrives in a leadership role, working hands-on to create a positive learning environment while helping grow our preschool.

At Humble Hearts Academy, we provide a nurturing and structured atmosphere for children up to age 5. We’re looking for a strong leader who can drive enrollment, build relationships with families, and support our team with daily operations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring everything runs smoothly, while meeting enrollment goals and regulatory requirements.

This position is on-site with occasional remote work opportunities, as needed. We need someone who is ready to lead in person, offering hands-on support to staff, families, and students.

    Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless scheduling, staff coordination, and compliance with regulations.

Enrollment & Family Engagement: Conduct center tours, manage enrollment processes, and utilize our CRM system to track family engagement and retention.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead staff recruitment, training, and development while mentoring teachers in classroom management, curriculum planning, and behavior guidance.

Administrative Oversight: Manage supplies, budget, contracts, and maintain accurate records for licensing and compliance, including the CA Federal Food Program and Title 22 regulations.

Supportive Presence: Be an active leader who is present in the center, ready to assist with day-to-day tasks and provide direct support when necessary.

    Who You Are:

Strong Leader: You have experience leading teams and ensuring operational excellence in an early childhood education setting.

Goal-Oriented: You’re results-driven, with a passion for meeting enrollment targets and improving processes.

Organized & Efficient: You excel at multitasking, problem-solving, and managing both people and resources.

Communicator: You’re skilled at building relationships with families, staff, and the broader school community.

ECE Enthusiast: Your love for early childhood education shines through in everything you do.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience and 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role in early childhood education.

Education: A BA in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Licensing Compliance: Meet all requirements for a preschool director under Title 22 Community Care Licensing regulations.

CPR & First Aid Certification: Required.

Physical Ability: Able to engage with children at their level, including sitting on the floor and lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background screening.

Immunizations: Current MMR and TDaP vaccinations required.

    Work Schedule:

Full-time, on-site, 40 hours per week between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional remote work may be available as needed but will not be a regular feature of the role.

    Benefits:

Health insurance with 50% employer contribution.

    401k plan with company matching.

Paid time off, including sick leave and vacation.

Paid professional development and mentoring opportunities.

Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

If you're a hands-on leader ready to make a lasting impact in early childhood education, we'd love to hear from you!
