Our center is looking for an experienced and dedicated 3K Lead Teacher/Director to join our team and help shape the future of our young learners.

    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled 3K Lead Teacher/Director to oversee classroom instruction, manage administrative responsibilities, and guide a team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences for children from 2yrs of age through 4yrs of age..

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the 3K classroom, planning and implementing a curriculum that promotes early literacy, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development for young children.

    Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with classroom staff to ensure high standards of care and teaching.

    Foster positive relationships with parents, families, and the community, communicating progress and developmental milestones.

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the classrooms, including managing schedules, materials, and classroom environment.

    Perform administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and compliance with NYS regulations and daycare center policies.

    Create individualized education plans for children, addressing their unique needs and learning styles.

    Ensure that the classroom environment is safe, organized, and conducive to learning and play.

    Collaborate with other center staff and contribute to center-wide initiatives to enhance overall educational quality.

    Provide guidance and support for new staff members, conducting training and professional development as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

    New York State (NYS) Teaching Certification (Birth - Grade 2).

    Minimum of 5 years of classroom experience in early childhood education.

    Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and supporting a team of teachers.

    Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, developmental milestones, and best practices.

    Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and the community.

    Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in a daycare or preschool setting.

    Previous experience in an administrative or director-level role.
