    At Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center (IE), our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and loving environment for children as they find and develop their strengths. We want to inspire young children to find the joy of learning through a STEM-based curriculum inside and outside of the classroom. We aim to provide opportunities that will instill confidence, self-worth, and morals in every child (how to be a good person). IE’s main purpose is to also provide an appropriate curriculum to balance a child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team!

    You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

    You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum

    Teach beginning reading and math skills

    Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

    Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

    Communicate with parents and other school personnel

    Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification

    Associate Degree in Education

    Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

    Problem solving and mediation skills
