    Job Summary: Little Scribbles Childcare & Learning Center is seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a class of young learners, designing and implementing lessons, and providing a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. You will assess each child’s individual academic level and create instruction that meets both collective and individual needs, fostering their growth in both academic and social-emotional development.

    The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and is excited to help students reach their potential through creative teaching methods and meaningful connections with each child.     Key Responsibilities:

    Curriculum Development: Create and follow a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters learning in reading, math, and social-emotional skills.

    Instruction: Teach beginning reading and math skills to preschool-aged children, using a variety of instructional methods and learning techniques.

    Social & Emotional Development: Assist children in developing critical social and emotional skills that will help them succeed both in school and in life.

    Communication: Regularly communicate with parents and school personnel to provide updates on children's progress, discuss concerns, and build strong partnerships.

    Assessment: Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones and adjust instruction as needed to support their growth.

    Classroom Environment: Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

    Health & Safety: Ensure that classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are closely adhered to in accordance with school policies.

    Qualifications:

    Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

    Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education and classroom management.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and a commitment to maintaining these standards.

    Strong problem-solving and mediation skills.

    Ability to build relationships with young children and provide personalized support to meet their needs.

    Schedule:

    10-hour shifts

    Day Shift

    Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
